Clearing Out My Flat

these were the scrap pieces one day that I wasn't sure if my Dad wanted to keep or not, so I put them at the bottom of the stairs. just the way I had placed them.. looks like its supposed to be like that, like it's part of a sculpture/installation. (all of the pieces were chucked apart from the piece of MDF on the right).

A photo I took of Nancy and felt I had to continue further. 

Nowadays, its too easy to edit our photographs. I want to learn about old models which would capture photographs like these:

Was invited to a 70th birthday party, and throughout the hallway were photographs of Anne from the 60's. Her dad used to have a passion for photography and I loved these original photo's of her. I am interested in the fact that this camera didn't catch perfect replicas of real life, but there are marks, scratches; raw energy and one-off mistakes which turn out to look beautiful.
